The highly influential TripAdvisor travel review site listed has listed St. John as one of the “15 Best Honeymoon Destinations in the United States”, according to the territory’s Department of Tourism.
The 15 destinations were chosen by an algorithm that analyzed all of the property reviews on TripAdvisor Rentals to select the honeymoon destinations that have the highest-rated rental accommodations, according to D.O.T. St. John, in particular, was praised for its “world-class beaches, unspoiled forest, and blissful solitude”. An added incentive for U.S. citizens is the fact they do not need a passport to visit the USVI. Also, with $1,600 in duty-free allowances for U.S. residents, visitors and honeymooners can enjoy some extra shopping.
